Is Clubbing A Good Way To Prepare For Motherhood?
Remember the days of clubbing? So fun. Getting dolled up, doing shots and dancing all night. It was complete hedonism. No responsibility, no curfew, just good times with your best girlfriends.
Well these mums say that clubbing prepares you for motherhood, and they urge young women to go out and party every night in preparation.
Sound a little far fetched?
Well, when you think about sleepless nights, waking up with lots of people in your bed and getting sticky drinks spilled on you 'erry day and 'erry night, well, they may have a point.
Then there is the fact that someone is always randomly missing pants or a top or both, someone is always crying for no reason and you're doing shots all the time (of espresso, these days).
They are kinda spot on.
They mention the bathroom dramas, how you're always chatting with someone in the loo and never go to the bathroom alone (though with little kids in tow, it’s not by choice).
They also talk about how long it takes to actually get out the door, although these days it's because the kids can't find their shoe, not because you can't get your hair right.
So, yes, these mums do have an excellent point. Clubbing really does prepare you for motherhood.
And if it doesn't, it's a great excuse to go out dancing all night anyway!
