Walls That Talk: Bedtime Just Became A Little More Magical!
As a parent, there are some nights when you think you simply cannot adult any longer. All you want to do is go into time out with a glass of wine, but of course bedtime to your child means the perfect chance to ask tricky questions/suddenly want to tell you in detail about their entire day/request a drink of water/desperately need the toilet (probably twice)/and, of course, require a bedtime story.
While there’s no easy solution for all of these night-time dilemmas, a French company named Castorama has come up with a new product that gives parents a bit of an out on the bedtime story.
Called ‘The Full Story Paper’, it’s an interactive wallpaper featuring 10 characters, which gives access to myriad adventures, all controlled from a tablet or smartphone in your child’s hands once the free app is downloaded. They can choose to either listen to the story, or read it themselves on the device.
Designed for children aged three to eight, the quirky characters include a princess who doesn’t like dresses, a rhino jogger, a robot, a marine cat, plus their friends. By scanning and selecting two characters instead of just one, the possible story combinations increase to over 55.
The humorous stories cover everyday life topics, including love, friendship, family, music and school.
The Full Story Paper is a genius way to create precious memories and keep bedtime for your kids magical, during the times you simply don’t have the power to string together any more words (apart from whispering sweet nothings into your wine glass as you fall asleep on the couch). Merci, Castorama!
