10 YEAR OLD BOY DOES MAKEUP BETTER THAN YOU (AND EVERYBODY)
If you’ve ever tried to apply falsh lashes and found yourself gluing your eyes shut and throwing the crumpled eyelash in a fit of rage, you need Jack.
Jack is a 10 year old boy from the UK. He is also blowing up social media with his unbelievable makeup skills.
He’s not technically supposed to be on Instagram yet, but his page, makeuupbyjack has amassed 197,000 followers in just a few months and people all over the world are desperate to try out his techniques.
He is an expert contourer, smokey eye creator and absolutely nails a dark lip. He has casual daytime looks and theatrical nighttime looks and applies the makeup to his face like a pro.
He shot to fame recently when someone posted one of his videos on Facebook with the caption: "You walk in to your son doing this, wyd?,"Rather than having a negative impact, the video catapulted young Jack to instant Insta-fame with over 45 million views. Make up artists loved his skills, with one admirer gushing,
“You are going to be such a star! Great work honey!! You put my contour to shame!”
Of course there were negative comments, but it was hard to ignore his incredible talent, and fans rallied around him.
His YouTube channel has loads of amazing videos and great tips for mere mortals like us. It’s definitely worth checking out and seeing how a pro applies those lashes (without crying).
Little is known about this talented youngster at this stage, but watch this space. If at the tender age of 10, Jack can slay like this, imagine what he can achieve as an adult. His aunty, Kristan, jumped onto Facebook to show her support as the debate raged online with thousands of supporters shouting down the haters.
She said, “This is my nephew Jack. We are so proud of how far he's come with being true to himself. We as a family support him in everything he chooses to do. This is for fun. He's amazingly talented and better than most of us at make up! He already has a huge following since his first video about two weeks ago. Make up brands sending him make up. Celebrities sending messages of support and encouragement. There will always be haters the good comments MASSIVELY outweigh the bad. #betruetowhoyouare
The future looks very bright (and beautifully contoured) for this new kid in town.
