WHAT HAPPENS WHEN 100 ARTISTS PAINT A SCHOOL?
Schools are usually such dull colours. Muted greys, dirty greens, off whites.
A little colour could really inspire students. But regulation and lack of imagination means that kids have to endure snorey monotony on a daily basis.
That’s why we love what this bunch of French (of course) artists did to an old school building in Paris at the Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris as part of Rehab 2, an urban festival.
Glorious colours, amazing ideas and utterly exquisite inspiration filled the halls over three weeks as 100 artists took part.
Sadly, all the beautiful artworks are set to be painted over and turned back to puce, khaki and beige.
Why? We’re not sure, but at least the incredibly divine images were captured beforehand.
Wouldn’t you love your child to go to a school filled with all this beauty?
